It's well known all along that Malaysia public transport users are majority those middle class workers or students and it is such inconvenient to transport from one place to another. Those who can affort to own a car will certainly do so because this will not only save them money, but more importantly the precious time. Planning can be made better with own transport.
So what Nazri suggested that all commuters can affort the price increase is rubbish, just like him. Why is he says that increase in public transports fare is affortable for everyone? The service and system is at such a lousy state and I think not even a fly would want to get into those pack, impunctual buses.
Probably he's right in a way! Public transport company demanded for 60% fare hike, but they approved half of it! That means government is doing their job by limiting the price hike! We the citizens should feel grateful towards government if according to what Nazri Babi suggested.
Also why are they approved for public transport company to increase its fare when fuel prices and all other raw materials prices already down? Previously they demand for increase because of fuel price increase, but now it's already down to its previous level. Why still increase in its fare?
I think Nazri has to give a more clear answer to the public!
