Sedition

What's sedition actually? I've asked this question before and now am asking again?

Isn't sedition and/or ISA law is to act against those who's fueling with people's emotion and those who's creating havoc among society? If yes why don't Ahmad Ismail being detain under such act and why not Khir Toyo? Why must it be RPK, Teresa Kok and the newspaper reporter?

Simple! It's because Ahmad Ismail and Khir Toyo is living under the parent's wing, and they are truely well guarded even they did something wrong!

So pitty Teresa, RPK and the reporter. Simply because you'll are at the wrong side of the law! (As per BABI NEGARA's definition) Simple!

ISA and the Sedition Act are two different things.

One is arrested under the Sedition Act when, for example, "promote feelings of ill-will and hostility between different races or classes of the population of Malaysia".

The ISA on the other hand, allows detention without the need for trial.

So, for the Sedition Act, you need a reason and the person is charged with arrest; for ISA, no reason needs to be given.

(I know; the Sedition Act is subjective in interpretation - which is what makes it so darned controversial. But at least you can make a police report based on it.)
