Employer Jailed for Abusing Maid

We've heard and see so many cases of employers abusing their maids, and quite rightly so if they were sent to jail for such behaviour because maid still human being as well. Fair enough today's news was there 's an employer was sentenced to jail for such act.

I supported such verdict if the employer really proved to committed it. But we've also heard hundreds thousands of cases where maids were abusing the employers as well. Not only heard, but I've seen it all myself before. Maid was torturing the employer and his family, but when requested them to be sent back home, employers have to paid a fine of RM250 for sending them back

This has brought to my curiosity as to whether the law is protecting those innocent, or protecting those offences committed person. Why should we, the employer be fine for terminating a sub-standard maid?

My friend's maid is even worse, she pretended she's sick and she refuse to do the duty she was told, and she even pretended to be running out of control in public, picked up food from dustbin and eat them, pretended they have such Kepala Pusing until they are unable to sit, and also pretended they were mentally ill in order to get back home.

From some survey, I'd noticed the last one was the most common nowadays in order to get out from the employer's house. They will be sent back to just the agency's office, and "waiting" for the next carriage to send them back. But 3 weeks after she was still in agent's office, and she doesn't look mentally ill at all.

Another friend's maid even worse. She put her urine into all the drinking bottles, and even made the milk for baby using her urine. We could even smelled the urine the moment we opened the bottle, and for this we questioned her again and again, time after time, until we threaten to call police, she told it was the connecting person and agent that asked them to do so in order employers will listen and obeyance to their maid!.

This is crazy, and out of their mind. So decided to brought her back to agent, they were fined RM250 for sending her back! It's a pity Malaysia stil practicing a "racist" law. Just because they a of similar skin colour they always get away with it!

What about us?
