What You Get For Going Against Police

What happened to Amirulrasyid Amzah is everyone's guesses. But one thing for sure is that policemen should not have fired at a suspect's head unless their live is under threat.

The poor Amirul is only an underage driver who's maybe afraid of being arrested for illegal driving, or some other non-life threatening act, but as to why policemen were firing at him without even he's any weapon with him.

What leads to police believe that Amirul is a dangerousman, and that their life is under threat? I think no one can answer this and from what I know, a policeman cannot open fire at suspect unless their life is under threat. Also if suspect is having a dangerous weapon, and it is pointed at them.

Police chief Musa Hasan said investigation is underway, and everything will be disclose to public on their findings, but I'm sure they will find no evident to prove police forces is wrong, and that Amirul deserved his death because of his refusal to stop upon request.

Next time when we see policemen, it's better we avoid them as far as we could. For over the last 20 years, I don't see any policemen doing a good job except for catching speeding chaps, walking around asking for Ang Pow, catching those talking on phone while driving, without fastening seat belts, and other simple yet relaxing environment things. That's what we need to protect us???

Our police motto is "shoot first, worry later". That is how they have dealt with Indonesians over the years. Maybe they thought this young boy is one so they shot first. Kill them, close case, put some weapon in the car and make it look like they are dangerous...Everytime you read the news about robbers being shot dead, you will see this statement, "they came running with parang towards me so i had to shoot".
