Double Standard Rafa Benitez

Last month when one of Liverpool's player criticised the team, he was frost out and left out of the team. He is transfer listed and he never plays for Liverpool again. He's even sent home from training ground and prevented from joining the first team activity.

All these because he criticised one particular person - Rafael Benitez. He criticised the club is on the backward step and that Rafael Benitez is losing his control over the team etc. That causes his future with Liverpool becomes dimmed and he must looks else where to further his career. Because Rafael wants to stamp his authority that he's the boss of Liverpool.

Yesterday one of Rafael Benitez's favourite son - Fernando Torres criticising the club, and indirectly on Rafa, he didn't get the sanction received by the other player (Sorry I really forgotten his name), whereas Rafa echo Torres's comments.

Why is Torres getting different treatment from the other? Is Rafa afraid of Torres leaving? Is Rafa having a double standard management skill like this? For the first Rafa stamped his authority that anyone criticise him or club would face displinary action but I don't see this with Torres, simply Torres is too big to take action against.

So again Rafa Benitez is showing his inconsistence of action and management with Liverpool and I think this will hardly go along with other players because one get different treatment from all others from the manager himself. So who will dare to criticise or give comment in future? Who will know he's the favourite son of Rafa? If they are lucky then their criticisms is accepted, otherwise they should start looking for another employer.

Up to date I think only Fernando Torres and Steven Gerrard can be said is Rafa's favourite sons!
