Thailand Political Unrest

Thailand suppose is one of the best tourism hotspot, and they made billions of dollar from tourism each year. This month they will be celebrating their "new year". but the recent strikes and demonstration has already hampered their tourism industries as well as their economy deeply.

Red shirts army has demonstrate on the street for weeks now in an effort to force a fresh election, but hasn't they think how much damage they have done to the country? All streets are closed down, businesses can't operate as usual, and people are suffering from all these.

Just in recent years, yellow shirts army did the same to toppled the then government, and forced a fresh election, and I think now red shirt army is trying to do the same. This unrest will only hampered their own economy and also is badly affecting the tourism industry which is their main source of income.

Maybe Malaysia should be glad that Thailand's political unrest has benifited us most because investors will not choose a place where political state is constantly in instability states. What if Thailand's political stable, I think Malaysia will be by far left behind in foreign investment.
