It's great to see the PM taking commuter for a trial, and how he found about the service of commuter has been mentioned. He's clearly disappointed and angry with the services provided. Good that these words is coming out from the mouth of PM.
So what's the next step he should do to improve such bad services? What can he do to improve the service and image of commuter that's been lodged long ago before he step up as PM. I remember not so long ago after the March 08 general election, trade minister, Shahril Samad too took public transport to work, and what he found out is disgusted and very inconvenient to public.
So this issue has not only raised once, but n-th times since god-damn-long ago. Why did Pak Lah chosen now to check on these services? Isn't there someone who's conducting all these surveys and feedback to him on regular basis? Why has he got to come to experiencing himself personally in order to understand our feeling?
The only thing we all can relate it to is for the sake of Permatang Pauh's by-election. Pak Lah is trying to proof to nations he's doing his job. He's caring for the nation and he's trying to solve all our problems. However Pak Lah do not need to come down personally to experience it himself. He could have engage a 3rd party to do all such works and feedback to him.
If he's to do everything by himself, experiencing all our long suffering problems himself, then I think he would have to have at least 96 hrs a day in order for him to understand what we are really going through. This excludes his more important duty at the PM office daily.
Secondly, to understand out suffers is different from solving our suffering problems. He may come to check on this and that for once in his life time, but is he really will think of a better solution for us is another issue. So far what we've seen from this government is they are very good in finding problems, but they are extremely, god damn slow in finding the solution, or even non-existance at all.
So the only real reason we could see Pak Lah on a commuter is 100% for the Permatang Pauh's by-election sake. Not more than that!
