It's a stark contrast that our government is trying to help once math prodigy, Sufiah Yusof. Government or authority here is trying to find out why she would fall to such lifestyle and chosen the way of life like this. They were willing to land a helping hand to her in order to get her life back as it is.
Today's newspaper read that Sufiah has no regret on what she did and that's the life that she chosen and wanted. She does not need our help here and she's happy with her own life at the moment.
I was thinking why on earth we wanted to care for it in the first place? Is it we the one that causing all this? If our government really wanted to help others, they should look more into this as there are hundreds of thousands of Malaysian located overseas that need help.
I'm not being cruel and sacarstic, but if a person do not want our help, it's better we put that help to those who really needed it!

I totally agree with you. I hope Sufiah's confession will be like a slap on the face to the government for being such busybodies. I hope they will ask Sufiah back the money they gave her to go to oxford considering she makes a lot of money now. More than any of us can make in a year.
the gov just want to score some brownie points. well, i think they shd just leave her alone.
