Tioman Ferry Tragedy

Why is the government only raise concern over incidents happened? Why can't they set the precautions and regulation implimentation before tragedy happened? Are they just there to show their presence only? Are they totally unaware of possible tragedy that might occurs? Or they are paid to do ensure such incidents to be covered up as much as possible?

Over the years there have been too many incidents happened that went unresolve, let alone unpunished to the ones responsible. When accidents involving buses happened everyday, they will formed an investigation group to investigate the "Root Cause" of it! It all went quiet after few weeks. Then they have Op-Sikap 13 or so to ensure motorists follows rules & regulation on roads, which they reported how many accidents and fatalities each day, yet they will investigate each serious or fatal accident happened, and eventually no result being mentioned at all.

Now Tioman ferry incident happened, they found out that the company's licence actually expired since last December, yet they are still operating as normal for nearly one whole year. I'm sure if such incident not happened, we will still be using their service day in day out! No one actually know they are operating without licence, and yet insurance company still issue the coverage for them, onlyh to be voided after operating without licence become known.

How come our government can let all these happened, and no stern action being taken? Is there such law that prevented government taking action against these culprits? Maybe, just maybe these companies were owned by some relatives of the government officers, or they are protected by "LAW"

Instead of seeking solutions to all these problems, they (Malaysian Government) rather stay in the Putrajaya Trade Centre trying to connect to our "Angkasawan" traveller, wishing him Selamat HR..... etc. I'm not impatriotic, I'm telling the truth that Malaysia will one day ended up like country in Africa, if you know what I mean!

So stop those god damn Angkasawan thingy and do what you suppose to do if any of the influential government officers, or perhaps minister that is reading this. Hope this can wake some of you up and start doing the right thing from now on, or risk being a "Nation of Kampung"
