Finally Here I Come Mt Kinabalu

After so many months of waiting, the day finally comes. I'd been arranging all itenerary and hotels etc for the last 6 months, and now finally the day comes. I'm so excited about the White water rafting and mount Kinabalu climbing trip, and this shall be a new experience for me!

If anyone who's experience this before, mind to share your experience here please. Thanks

Get a rotan at the town before your destination you will be climbing. Wood stick would not hold long enough for the trip to go up the Mt and coming down. Rotan will. Bargain for a better price.

Carry less as you climb, even weight of 2kg will become 20kg as you come down from the Mt Kinabalu. If you sweat a lot, bring some re-hydration salt. You can fill up your water bottles along the climb, mountain water.

Laban Rata is cold though, the temperature is around 6 to -2 depending how strong the wind is.

Coming down will put heavy pressures on your knees. So save some strength and rest well before you start coming down.

Have fun.. and remember to post pics. :D
