National badminton double specialist Koo Kian Keat cries yesterday during a training session after comment made by his own coach, Rexy Mainaky. I think he is rightly to cries for because his performance has not been up to expectation since he, together with Tan Boon Heong won last year's Swiss Open. Koo, especially pointed out by Rexy as the main reason for the downfall because of certain issue, which might or might not true. But we can see whenever they play, Koo has the tendency to show off when meeting with lesser known opponent. This is the sucker punch that could happen to anyone, and Koo KK fall right into this trap.
When he was talking about lack of confidence from Tan, I think he doesn'e give assurance to his partner enough that caused such scenario. Now that Rexy pointed out Tan actually doesn't has much faith in Koo because he likes to show off too much. Probably this will serve him as a final warning and if he doesn't buck up and perform, then he's be out of Beijing Olympic because we want a player who fight for their country and pride, not personal glory and style.
Rexy is rightly to speak out so because if he send a player who doesn't have a heart to fight to win, he will be view as failure because he doesn't anticipated this. I have full faith in Rexy and too much time have been given to Koo and I think it's time to make or break for them.

Downfall? Well, signs show before the problem.
