9MP Vs World's Heritage Status

Pak Lah withdrew its development fund for Penang due to it's unneccessary. The fund had actually been approved before the March 8th election, and many has speculated the 2 mega projects would be scrapped after BN lost the state to opposition party.

At the beginning, there's no sign of its referral. But only about 100 days from the stated date, Pak Lah suddenly dropped a bombshell to all Penangites that their LRT/Monorail and Outter Ring Road project would be put on hold because RM 3.5 Bil is a huge amount and they do not need it at this moment as well as due to high costs and government runs out of fund, it needed to be put off temporarily. At the same time he declared there would be a fund of RM 30 bil to develop some other unimportant things.

Which is true? Government hasn't got the money or they have it but just keep it to themselve?

Then just weeks if not days later, Penang and Melaka were declared 2 of the world's heritage city, and this will surely made them well known all over the world. From this I suppose it will boost their tourisms industries as well as other aspect of fields.

So again it made Pak Lah looks miserable and stupid that he doesn't even know where's the priority, and whether BN or PR is the ruling state government, Penang and Melaka should be develop into a tourism centre. Just today or yesterday news that Penang 2nd bridge project is also under threat now as the 2 major companies involved is at a disagreement with the China counterpart, who financed the project at a special rate to Malaysia company.

Now that he already addressed to all Malaysian the 2 mega projects in Penang would be put off, whether he would change his mind is beyond our imagination and also out of our control. I sincerely hope he would change his mind on this and let the project to be continue. Or else he would have to answer various questions thrown at him as why cancelled a RM3.5 bil projects and funding some other 'unneccessary' projects, which costs RM 30 bil?
