This is the n-th times I've heard this Pak Lah's administration saying to fight corruption since day-1 he moved into Putrajaya PM office. He gave the impression that he'll eliminate all the corruption culture within government and he'll give the people a clean and transparent government administration. Few years on, not only corruption not reduced, but it got worse.
Yesterday during the parliamentary proceedings, there were some Q&A between Nazri and Lom Kit Siang on this issue, and what's been explain is very unconvincing. 4 years on and the identified 18 BIG FISH whom they suppose to investigate, are all still outthere enjoying their lifes and worry nothing about this. Why? You should know why!
On hundreds of charges pressed against those committed corruption, these are just those small little bunch, and Nazri is trying to used these bunch of prosecuted group to cover up the 18 big ones. What about the PKFZ 46 billion ringgits? Where have this amount of money goes? Where's the progress of IDR? What's been done there so far? How about the richest unemployed? Why don't they start the investigation against those ministers or MP who live a luxury lifes? There ae many more which is endless to be mentioned here.
So for whatever explaination given, it's so unconvincing and it sounds more like entertaining the question rather than answering it! Before 8th of March 2008, when asked about such similar question, Nazri could answer without using microphone and yet the whole house of parliament could hear him. Why now he answered with such a mild manner? It is good to see the gentleman side of Nazri and hope he will keep such attitude forever.
As for the other famous one, Fat Bung Botak, ops.... Mokhtar, why he got the guts to apologise to the disable, yet not Karpal Singh? What's his intention? He knows he upsetting too many people outside and he's trying to plays it cool, and apologise to those upset and trying to gain their 'support'. Sorry Botak, too late! Your mouth is just as stink as your ass, perhaps more!
