For some reason I think the increase of prices be it on fuel, raw materials, gas etc, the biggest beneficials would be hawkers. Today I just noticed some of the hawkers increase their food price by 50 cents per plate/bowl!
It is getting ridiculous and government said they would prevent this from happening. Look at what happen now? Is there any action taken? What have they done to stop this? Just 2-3 months ago when there's a shortage of rice and flour, prices of these items increased, and subsequently hawkers increase the food price as a result of this.
Now fuel and electricity price gone up, they again increase the price of food. That's too much and it's getting out of control. When prices of raw materials increase by 10 or 20 cents per kg, they would increase by the same margin per bowl / plate. How much rice/noodles can a kg of rice/flour make of? I think the domestic trade department must take action against these opportunists who's increasing prices ridiculously. Someone has to make the first move, and we, consumers can only raise our dissatisfaction against these yet there's nothing we could do.
Another talk that prove this f**king government is good at talking one thing, and doing another. This government isfull of shit and they are on the way to history, especially after annoucing the measure of cutting back allowances entitled for menteris. All they know is to suck out most money from our hard earn tax paying money into their own pocket.
