No Increase in Transportation Fare

Government has told transportation sectors not to increase their fares or risks action taken against them. This is because transport sectors will enjoy a fuel subsidy from government, and they are paying a below market price of fuel.

In one stand it is correct that fuel is subsidised. But how about their maintenance and parts? All these are affected by the increase of fuel price, and subsequently these additional costs will incurred onto these business sector as well. So I think it's unfair for government to call for transportation sectors to remain their fares, where we all know is impossible.

What will happen if they still insisting on increasing the fares? What sort of actions will government take against them? If fare increment is rejected, what secondary plan do they have to force government to allow for increase of fares?

From all these we can see this government done things without a proper planning, and most of them just think and do. No detail survey or studies is being carryout prior to implementing. That's why there are hundreds of thousands of question being asked now without proper solution.

Useless BN!
